Game of Thrones reaches its ultimate enigma with the third, yet most crucial episode of Season 7, The Queen’s Justice. Things seem to be unfolding rather too quickly with major plot developments that’s keeping fans on their toes. With so much happening in the world of Westeros, you can’t afford to miss even a single second, because when you blink, you miss! Let’s face it, all revelations made this week were BIG DEALS that makes it the best and the most important episodes the show has ever produced. Let’s just dive right in!
Dany Meets Jon
Finally! Finally! Finally! Sure, we all want Starks to reunite ASAP, but this was something that’s been anticipated for far too long and it finally happened. So what happens when the Mother of “too many titles” meets the “King of The North”? The kings hand stumbles and fumbles and delivers his worst performance. Three cheers to Missandei, people!
On a second note, why would writers do that to poor Jon, c’mon he’s also the achiever – achiever of many things – even love. Dany is yet to find that.
Fantasy alert – Did we see a spark between the two – in the throne room? on the beach? at both the places? The fact that a King would never bend the knee in front of his queen, and Jon blatantly denied doing that, rings a bell in our heads – did it ring for you? Time will Tell – patience is virtue and given the lightning fast speed at which the show is moving, we’ll soon find our answers.
Ramsay Part II? Indeed!
No, we can’t endure another psychopath in the show, which is already next level crazy, or probably can – after all psychopaths only make the show crunchy, crackly and scrummy – wait, am I thinking food? Or probably I’m thinking if Euron, being the second psychopath that he is, would be fed to the dogs like Ramsay or to Nymeria’s crew? Well, I’m just thinking! How would you like it, Tangy or Sour, anyone?
But there’s no denying that Euron’s swashbuckling stints make him stand out in the season. Euron comes back victorious with his delicious treats for Cersie, his niece and the remaining Dornish leadership in chains. In a quest to be rewarded he asks Cersie to marry him. Cersie will marry him but “after the war is one” – she never mentioned which one. Big or small? Against Dany or Jon or White Walkers (she’s yet to find out that North has more enemies). Smart lady, though, a cruel one too, indeed! But she has her reasons, give her some benefit of doubt, people.
Bran Finally Gets Back Home
We were expecting ARYA– weren’t we?
You do realize that you played with our feelings?”
All in all, Sansa really got a big surprise in this episode. Her brother came back as a Three-Eyed Raven – but, what’s that? Let’s enlighten poor Sansa a bit because Bran is talking in riddles. He acted like he is “knows-all” kinds and now it’s his birth right to torment people and trigger their trauma. Give it a break, kid, at least spare the poor girl. She’s already been through a lot – of course, you know that. All in all, while Sansa comes to terms with this major development, we’ll like to see how Bran communicates to his fellow Starks that all of the answers to resolve current conflicts rest in the past.
Jorah just for a second chance at life, thanks to SAM
Sam is our hero again and how do they reward heroes in Westeros? By asking them to clean a pile of old books and hello, beware of the dust mites – because they can infect you, and then who’d read the literature to save our not-so-little Sam? It’s stupefying to see how a well-read man is being treated at Citadel, but again, Sam has indeed cured Jorah’s greyscale and gave him a second—or third chance at life. So I’m guessing, rather sure that Jorah is going back to Dany. But What’s the whole point of it now? What will he achieve? Feel free to enlighten me in the comment section below. I’d be waiting to hear out some crazy fan theories.
Good Job Done, Lannisters!
Cersie is my Queen for this episode, Period. She is clever, evil and smart. She’s a Queen of the Seven Kingdoms and it’s time to Hear her Roar! This episode was all about her first victory after she lost everything in Season 6. This is one woman who has come out stronger and we can’t help but imagine how fierce and intense it is going to be when two strong women characters will come face to face in the upcoming episodes.
Lannisters have Highgarden now. Dany’s army is trapped in Casterly Rock. Daenerys is clearly not at a good place. What is she left with? Is this going to make her lose her calm and get into her “dragon attack” mode? Jon is still by her side, we can only anticipate what’s going to be the next big move by the Mother of Dragons and Cersie, the Queen, with her atrocious ideas.
Wait, What? …
…..and it turns out that Joffery was killed by Olenna Tyrell!
RIP, Woman, you were great!
The Spoils of War! – the fourth episode of Game of Thrones Season 7 airs August 7 at 9 p.m (GST) on HBO.
