The Fate of the Furious has been unleashed on the world today and those who have seen it are all praises about F. Gary Gray’s direction. There are explosions, plenty of car pile-ups, chases, army of self-driving zombie cars, and, well, the “family” that will go extra miles to unite again.

From the reactions on social media, it seems the crew managed to come up with yet another hi-octane, crowd-pleasing pedal-to-the-race movie. The Fate of the Furious is ridiculously entertaining and turns out certainly better than its trailer. For an eighth iteration of the franchise that started as a modestly budgeted ripoff in 2001, the ‘Fate’ manages to deliver exactly what fans would have expected – a fun and an outlandish boxoffice behemoth. With box office growing at a rapid rate, the franchise displays enough “oomph” to continue as a stronger property in future.
Actor Vin Diesel said in an interview during the Universal Pictures presentation at CinemaCon 2017 that the eighth instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise will kick-start a new trilogy. “As the world sees this movie, they’ll see how it’s the beginning of a new trilogy. One of the things we’re so proud of with this chapter is how much we defied expectations.”
For The Fate of the Furious, Vin Diesel is joined by a returning all-star cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham, Chris Bridges, Elsa Pataky, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Kurt Russell.
