It’s time to take a trip back to Central America, Costa Rica to the Island of Isla Nublar, where dinosaurs run free and wild. In case you don’t know what we are talking about, ages ago when we were kids a movie came out about a park with dinosaurs roaming freely and people from all over the world came to see them and then hell broke loose. So now that you’re up to speed, let’s get on with the movie review.
In this instalment we go back to the island to rescue the only velociraptor we ever loved….Blue! We could end this review here, but since you made it this far, why not continue? For a regular movie goer, this is pretty much a one-time watch, but for Dino fans this movie hits all the right spots. New dinosaurs? Yes. Old dinosaurs? Yes. Dinosaurs? Yes. There are more teeth, a lot more of fire power and more innocent by-standers getting eaten up this movie. Exactly why we love it. Now since Isla Nublar is going to face a volcanic eruption, Owen and Claire (couple of the century), go to rescue the last remaining velociraptor, Blue. Adding to this the scientists are at it again, trying to create a new dinosaur. Always seems like a good idea right? 5 movies have taught us absolutely nothing. So this movie introduces a new species called the Indoraptor, which is a cross between the Indominus Rex and a Velociraptor. So what is the fate of mankind going to be now? You will have to watch and see. But this movie is for the hardcore fans of the Jurassic franchise. Chris Pratt as always brings magic to the screen, be it Star Lord or Owen Grady, he knows how to keep the audience on the edge of their seats.
All in all, it’s a movie you should watch in 3D or even 4DX as the CGI work is amazing and don’t forget to get a Dino Tee right here at Voxpop!
